The MA thesis is a synthesis of knowledge from general linguistics and associated fields gained during the studies. The student learns to apply this knowledge to solve a specific problem. An MA thesis usually focuses on a single linguistic problem, which the student analyzes using data from a certain number of genealogically and aerally varied languages; special attention is paid to Slovene. Special attention is given also the computer literacy of the student.
The readings are set by the supervisor based on the topic of the MA thesis.
