Tch. Asst. Dr. Veronika Zavratnik

Veronika Zavratnik is a teaching assistant.

She was born in 1990 in Ptuj, Slovenia. In 2011 she graduated at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of arts, Department of ethnology and cultural anthropology with the thesis on understanding local ethnographic collections in the context of local communities. At the same faculty she finished her MA studies in 2016 with the thematic focus in material culture studies. Currently she is working on her PhD thesis. 

Between 2018 and 2020 she was a researcher at the Faculty of electrical engineering, Laboratory for telecommunications. From 2019 she is a teaching assistant at the Faculty of arts, Department of ethnology and cultural anthropology. Since 2021 she also works as the researcher at the Institute for innovation and development of University of Ljubljana.

 

Fields of research: material culture, sustainability, arts and crafts, cultural heritage, smart villages, digitalization
