The course presents the arising of sociology within the other social sciences and humanities, and its heterogeneous theoretical development. It presents the main classic theoretizations of the sociology, its object and epistemological approaches through an analysis of the selected parts of the opuses of classic sociologists like Marx, Durkheim, Weber, Simmel, Parsons, Blumer, Berger and Luckmann, Foucault, Bourdieu, and others.
